This website is a tribute to the life of Robyn Beverland. Born March 5, 1957, Robyn was diagnosed with Wolfram Syndrome – a rare, life threatening genetic disorder. He was totally blind in his right eye and deaf in his right ear. He had 35% vision in his left eye and was afflicted with numerous health issues. His life expectancy was not expected to be more than 43 years.

Robyn’s story is not one of sadness, heartbreak, and limitations. Rather, it is a story of happiness, joy, and remarkable accomplishments. His is a story worth telling and a life worth honoring.

In his short 41 years he loved life and lived it to the fullest. Robyn accomplished more in those years than one could ever imagine. His life was dedicated to helping others find their joy in this world. As far as he was concerned he saw no limits – only possibilities; no problems – only solutions; no bitterness – only gratefulness.

He displayed great artistic talent and his Folk Art paintings were displayed in magazines, galleries and were published by the Museum of American Folk Art. His works were also represented by the Folk Art Society of America (FASA). Many of his pictures are included in this website.

As you share his experiences and triumphs through tremendous difficulties, it is our hope that you will glimpse all that your life can become and leave a legacy of love as Robyn did.
